WRAP SUPPORT GROUPS (Product Code: SG-9101-2)

Ongoing WRAP Based Peer Support and Recovery Activities for Anyone Who has Attended One of our WRAP Workshops

Key Features
• Part of Evoke's family of Support Group Services....
• Our WRAP Support Groups are held to offer participants of WRAP dedicated time to develop their WRAP even further and to embed all the learning gained from a WRAP workshop
• friendships often develop as well as practical support thereby reducing isolation and building community networks
• Attendees can bring in their own WRAP workbooks to add further information and ideas into them

• Held as a facilitator led group
• Sessions are ongoing and run typically every fortnight for 2.5hr on a 'per-session' drop-in basis
• New members join regularly (by invitation)
• Speakers are occasionally invited
• Activities, food and fun!
• Join social events - walks, restaurants
• Refreshments/Snacks available
• Accompanying support is offered in the form of an invitation to a closed social media page for workshops participants
• An excellent peer support arena
• There are optional opportunities to log individual and group mood improvement measures
• This WRAP Support Group service exist as a follow on service for our WRAP Workshops
• It initiates and develops discussion about self awareness and health and wellbeing using techniques including group discussion and peer support
• This support group can be adapted to work in special requirement areas based upon a demographic groups (eg. elderly/women/men)
• Signposting to other workshops and further development areas is available

Who Can Attend?
• Anyone who has created their Personal WRAP Plan and is interested and ready to continue work on their WRAP and gain support
• The only prerequisite for this course is having attended one of our weekly WRAP workshops

Methods
• We have have a check-in for people to allow all participants to catch up and get to know any new members
• We often start with a WRAP related topic or activity to aid the check-in
• We have a group wellness toolbox to allows participants to share their achievements and recall good times eg. holidays
• To promote trust and a safe and confidential learning environment we create and maintain a group agreement to allow all participants to have a say on how we maintain it

• Q. Is it free? A. Participants kindly donate £1 for refreshments
• Q. How big are the groups? A. as it is a drop in numbers vary but typically 6 to 12
• Q. Is there any learning? A. there is no formal learning but as always WRAP gives opportunities to learn from others

PEER SUPPORT GROUPS (Product Code: SG-7101-6)

Meet in an Open Group to Discuss, Share and Learn New Approaches to Wellbeing

Key Features
• Part of Evoke's family of Support Group Services....
• The groups are held to bring people together to identify and validate common problems, share and learn from each other and most of all help and support each other
• They act as a platform for personal development, networking, learning experiences and work/volunteering opportunities
• Participants are given the opportunity to spend dedicated 'me time'
• Friendships often develop as well as practical support thereby reducing isolation and building community networks

• Held as a facilitator led group
• Sessions are ongoing and run typically every fortnight for 2hr on a 'per-session' drop-in basis
• New members join regularly
• Speakers are occasionally invited
• Activities, food and fun!

"WHY WEIGHT?" MAINTENANCE GROUPS (Product Code: SG-3106-1)

A Follow-On Maintenance Group for the "Why Weight?" Course



More Details
• This is a drop-in program for those that have completed the "Why Weight?" course and want to continue to maintain their personal development and relationship with food
• Ongoing support through discussion topics and/or 45 mins gentle exercise (second hour of session)
• Maintain you motivation, share ideas and stories and keep in touch with your new support network - volunteering opportunities are available too!
• We run groups for adults
• To promote trust and a safe and confidential learning environment we create and maintain a group agreement throughout each of the sessions
• The only prerequisite for this course is wanting to attend and being comfortable in joining a group environment
